Andy Palmer - Grub St. Writer debuts at The Gothic Theater! (But we’ll get to that in a minute.)Andy Palmer

First, aside from being completely distracted by and binge consuming ‘House of Cards,’ music making and performing continues. Since we last spoke, I’ve been to Kansas City for the Folk Alliance International conference, where I showcased seven times. A huge, crazy event that brings together some of the best folk musicians from around the globe, it was a few days well spent meeting important players and industry professionals. People at my showcases were pretty psyched on what I’m doing, so that’s good. Andy PalmerMarch is a relatively slow month, but the one full band show that we’ve got scheduled is going to be awesome! The line up is incredible and it’s at a fun venue – Larimer Lounge. My band will be warming up the crowd starting at 9pm sharp. We’ll be followed by A. Tom Collins, who if you don’t know him and his band, KNOW NOW they’re incredible. One of Denver’s best without question – they put on a wild, no holds barred show. After them, the nationally touring band, The Giving Tree, hits. They’re also great. The other March show will be a solo performance at a benefit in support of child adoption. As an adopted child myself, I am honored and excited to be playing this show.

In other news, I’m still talking with a few studios and producers, gearing up for more recording sessions of new tunes. Pretty excited to get some of the new ones out to you all. As always, share my music widely if you can find the time. Your support makes the music possible. Other incredible artists that I discovered at Folk Alliance and that you should hear: • Sean Rowe - • Harpeth Rising -
